Martin is currently a 1st year Master's student, working under Norbi to explore the hot X-ray universe. His research interests include the large-scale structure of the universe, cosmological simulations, and galaxy clusters. For his Bachelor's thesis, Martin focused on the detection of filaments of the cosmic web using X-ray spectroscopy, with an emphasis on upcoming space missions such as Athena, LEM, and HUBS.
In addition to his research, Martin is involved in the GRBAlpha CubeSat project, where he contributes as one of the operators. Outside of his academic work, Martin enjoys all kinds of sports and, as a former pianist, has a deep passion for art and music across a wide range of genres.
