Dr. Congyao Zhang (张从尧) is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Masaryk University. He received his PhD from the Kavli Institute for Astronomy and Astrophysics (KIAA) at Peking University in 2016, and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) and the University of Chicago.
His research interests include galaxy clusters, large-scale structures, and cosmology, using both observations and numerical simulations. He has recently led several cluster kinematic mapping projects within the XRISM collaboration.
