Eva is a 1st year Master student studying nerby galaxy clusters with X-ray Integral Field Unit (X-IFU) as a part of her Master thesis under Norbert Werner supervision. This new X-IFU spectrometer will produce thousands of high resolution spectra which would be almost impossioble to analyze manually. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce new data analysis techniques, which employ elements of machine learning and allow us to use spectral and spacial information optimally.
She is mainly interested in X-ray universe, which was also the subject of her Bachelor thesis, where she studied changes in morphology of relativistic jet in galaxy M87 through Chandra X-ray telescope over five year span.
